Ingredients :
- 800 g couscous
- 300 g chickpeas, soaked overnight
- 1 kg of veal or beef
- 1 kg minced onion
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 250 g raisins
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of turmeric
- 2 eggs
- GingR
- Olive oil
- Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- Salt & pepper
Recipe
- At the bottom of steamer; put the meat with one chopped onion, ginger, salt, pepper, a little olive oil, fry for 20 minutes on low heat. Add 2 liters of water, chickpeas and bunch of parsley, cook
- Prepare the couscous by adding half a cup of oil, mix well and place it on top of the couscous when you see the steam coming out, remove the couscous and add warm water (about 3 cups of water) mix and return it to its place, repeat the process 3 times.
- In a large skillet, fry the chopped onions made with a glass of water, until a transparent color, add the butter, cinnamon, turmeric, salt and pepper cook for 10 minutes.
- Add raisins and honey, made caramelize
- Place the couscous in a large bowl and put the meat in the center and the chickpeas and garnished with caramelized onions.
